Shattering The Glass Ceiling
For the second year, Advancing Women in Product (AWIP) presents its award-winning Executive Summit, a gathering of the brightest minds to solve the pathway problem that exists with the lack of diversity in leadership roles. AWIP brings together its Ambassadors community for a combination of lightning talks and leadership panels ensuring that every attendee can leave with actionable next steps for advancing their career to the next level. If you are an experienced Product Manager or Engineer and looking to move into the executive rank, we would love to hear from you. Please complete our interest form here, and we will get back to you soon.
Perfect for Product and Engineering Managers looking to interact with an executive management panel on leadership growth.
This session will explore how leadership can be cultivated in a high growth environment and how engineers and product managers can positively impact revenue by taking ownership of both company and customer needs.
Loved the event, learned a ton. Was especially cool to see how much the younger, aspiring PM crowd valued your direct insights and advice at the end. They were starstruck! At a recent ally event at Segment, one our Designers, Annie, said, "I can only be what I can see," referring to the importance of representation— so kudos for being such an inspiring example to these budding professionals!
— Chris Sperandio, PM @ Segment
I attended the AWIP event yesterday and this was my second event. Loved it - very helpful and informational, not just for PM roles but also long term corporate career growth and success. We owe you a lot for your efforts to bring together these high quality events and thank you for being the champions.
— Kaushik Raha, Wharton MBA Class of 2018
We enjoyed our collaboration with Advancing Women in Product (AWIP) in June of 2018, where their creative, hands-on workshop helped us pack our SF office with highly-qualified, experienced Product Managers. Through networking efforts we've been able to extend a hand full of offers to event attendees, who have since started work with Workday.
I love the AWIP events and how they are held in convenient venues around the Financial District, where I could just drop by after work. I learn a lot from the sessions and from the experienced and aspiring PMs I meet at these events. I am looking forward to the future events and especially, the mentorship program. Great job, Nancy and the AWIP team for coordinating such high quality events and helping women advance in Product!

I would like to thank Awip team for the fantastic coordination they made to organize a startups meeting event. I really do appreciate the quality of the startups met and the high level of the entrepreneurs. I spent a really nice business evening. This evening allowed me to open discussion with two startups to accelerate them in our X-UP Polytechnique incubator. Thanks a lot for this great job.
